Lectures from Foreign Artists
Craftspersons, designers, researchers, teachers etc. in Japan are invited to Kanazawa to participate in public lectures, providing opportunities for students to come into contact with professional knowledge and the latest trends in various fields.
Foreign Artist Engagement Program
With College staff as the main teachers, foreign artists are invited to the College to support regular classwork. This presents an opportunity for students to cultivate an international mindset while receiving personalized, friendly advice and guidance. This also has an influence on their studying abroad and international research in the future. During the engagement, all-college lectures are also held.

The Royal Academy of Fine Arts
Ghent, Belgium
Established in the city of Ghent, a sister city of Kanazawa, in 1748. Offering majors in art, Italian architecture, fashion, and more. The animation major in particular is quite popular. A student exchange has been carried out each year since 2008, based on a short-term exchange agreement.
École nationale supérieure d’art de Nancy
Nancy, France
Established in the city of Nancy, a sister city of Kanazawa, in 1702. With majors in communication and design, this institution is focusing its efforts in the fields of film and design. A short-term student exchange program has been in place since 2008.
Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University
Beijing, China
One of China’s leading universities. A teacher exchange program has been operating since 2004 based on an exchange agreement, and a student exchange was also added in 2009. An exchange exhibition was held in Beijing, in Autumn 2011.
The State University of New York at Buffalo
Buffalo, America
An arts university located in Buffalo, a sister city of Kanazawa. A teacher exchange program has been operating since 2008.
Valand Academy
Gothenburg, Sweden
A graduate school located in Gothenburg. A short-term student exchange program has been operating since 1990 based on an exchange agreement. The academy includes student accommodation equipped with all the necessary facilities. Students communicate using English, producing works during their stay.
Dalian Polytechnic University
Dalian, China
A technical college located in Dalian. An exchange agreement was made in May 2016, and in November of the same year a joint exhibition of works by teaching staff was held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa.
